Gardens and outdoor areas

Home // Your tenancy // Your rights and responsibilities // Gardens and outdoor areas

As part of your tenancy, you have certain rights and responsibilities around gardens and outdoor areas.

Your full rights and responsibilities are in your tenancy agreement which you signed when you first moved in.

You can also find useful information about responsibilities for tree management and gritting on the pages below:

Tree management

Tree care in shared spaces is managed by us, while trees in private gardens are your responsibility. We also monitor tree health and offer planting advice.

Gritting

We provide gritting in shared outdoor areas during cold weather, ensuring safe access and stocked grit bins where service charges apply.
