There are different ways to apply for a home depending on where you want to live.

To apply for a home in Kirklees, you need to register with Kirklees Council Housing. You can then bid for a home with us.
To apply for a home in Leeds, you need to register with Leeds Homes. You can then bid for a home with us.
To apply for a home in North Yorkshire, you need to register with North Yorkshire Home Choice. You can then bid for a home with us.
To apply for a home in Wakefield, you need to register with Vico Homes Homesearch. You can then bid for a home with us.
You need to meet certain criteria to be eligible to apply for social housing. Each council has slightly different rules but we’ve created a list of the main guidelines.
A mutual exchange is a way to swap your home with another social housing tenant. You might want to downsize and someone else needs more bedrooms. Or you may want to swap with someone in a different area.
