Domestic violence or abuse can happen to anyone. It includes physical, psychological, emotional, financial and sexual abuse in relationships or between family members.

If you’re in immediate danger, call 999. If it’s not safe for you to speak to the operator, cough, tap your handset, or press 55.

We can provide advice, support and help customers who are experiencing domestic abuse – get in touch with us.

  • GASPED – supports people in emotional distress
  • IDAS – helps anyone cope with, and recover from, the traumatic effects of domestic abuse and sexual violence
  • KDASS – supports people and communities affected by domestic violence and abuse
  • Kirklees Council – general advice and support for anyone affected by domestic violence and abuse
  • Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership – supports people affected by domestic violence and abuse
  • RASAC – offers confidential, anonymous emotional support and information to survivors of rape, sexual abuse and domestic violence
  • West Yorkshire Police – Clare’s Law – can provide information to a victim or potential victim of domestic abuse about their partner’s or ex-partner’s previous abusive or violent offending
