We offer homes across the council areas of Leeds, Kirklees, North Yorkshire and Wakefield. So, our Area teams cover a wide geography, from Scissett in the south to Knaresborough in the north.
Each team – Central, North and South – is made up of different roles, including:
Neighbourhood Officers are a local point of contact for our customers. They support people to manage their tenancies, as well as addressing anti-social behaviour and enabling good neighbourhood management. They regularly visit the neighbourhoods they serve, manage empty homes and work with other agencies to improve the local community.
Support Co-ordinators manage sheltered housing schemes and promote residents’ independence and well-being by coordinating services, fostering community and responding to emergencies. They also liaise with families and other services, handle basic administrative tasks, and support residents with housing-related queries like rent and repairs.
Area Surveyors check homes to assess their condition and oversee repairs and maintenance. They make sure homes are suitable for our customers, and make sure empty homes are in the right condition before we re-let them.
Financial Inclusion Officers provide support to customers who may have financial difficulties. They offer advice on welfare benefits, budgeting, and debt management, helping to maximise customers’ income.
Income Service Officers support customers to manage and pay their rent, service charges, and other debts. They also provide help with housing benefit and Universal Credit claims, assisting with debt, and offering budgeting advice to help sustain tenancies.
