Over the next couple of months, we’ll be working with Thompson Environmental Consultants to carry out a survey of trees in some of the neighbourhoods we work.
This follows on from the last year’s survey. We identified some trees were not included in the original survey, so the contractor will return to assess these at no extra cost to customers or Leeds Federated. This means that you may see contractors from Thompson Environmental Consultants working in some of the same areas as last year.
The survey will help us to check that our trees are healthy and safe. Where we come across trees that need attention, we’ll assess the action we need to take. We won’t carry out any tree work on these as part of the survey.
Some trees can only be assessed from customer gardens. If contractors from Thompson Environmental Consultants need to get into your private garden they’ll get in touch with you.
Contractors from Thompson Environmental Consultants will carry their own ID. If you want to check a contractor is genuinely working on our behalf, get in touch with us and we can confirm it for you.
