We've been working hard to build a community-based approach where our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
We’re excited to share the progress we've made this past year and our plans for the year ahead.
Year 1 highlights
In the past year, we’ve successfully developed a detailed plan for each of the 54 neighbourhoods. This marks an important milestone in our journey to better understand the unique needs and priorities of each community and where you live.
Our approach has been about listening to our customers, engaging with them regularly, and making sure that the solutions we provide are tailored to their specific needs.
By taking this neighbourhood approach, we have been able to create plans that address local issues, bring people together, and build stronger connections between customers and Leeds Federated.
We're proud of the progress we’ve made so far, but we know that this is just the beginning.
Looking ahead
In the year ahead, we’ll be putting what we’ve learned from our neighbourhood plans into action. This means we’ll be targeting our services and resources more effectively, ensuring that we’re addressing the issues that matter most to our customers.
One of the key aims of this next phase is working with partner agencies including Litter Free Leeds, Neighbourhood Policing Teams and the local councils.
We recognise that there are some issues where others may be better placed to deliver services, and by collaborating with these partners, we can offer a more complete and well-rounded approach to supporting our communities.
Whether it's tackling local crime, improving health and wellbeing, supporting education and employment initiatives, or addressing housing needs, we’re committed to making sure that every neighbourhood gets the support it needs to thrive.
By continuing to listen, learn, and collaborate with our customers, we hope to create a lasting, and positive change.
Stay tuned for more updates, and let’s continue to make your community a great place to live!

What’s coming up this spring and summer
There will be events coming up over the next few months;
-
In Burmantofts, we'll be organising a ‘getting to know your neighbour’ event.
-
We’ll be at the Hunslet Gala on Saturday 14 June and Belle Isle Gala on Saturday 5 July.
-
We'll be publishing dates for walkabouts on your neighbourhood plan pages on Your Voice, where you can join us or inform us of anything we need to see.
Your voice matters
As always, we encourage you to stay involved in shaping where you live. Your feedback is essential to making sure that the neighbourhood plan for your area stays relevant and responsive.
Visit the Community hub on Your Voice and register to follow what’s happening with the neighbourhood plan for your area. If we haven’t knocked on your door already, you can still complete an online survey to share your views and learn more about the proposal.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with us. We look forward to another year of working closely with you and our partners to deliver real, meaningful change in our neighbourhoods.
