People sat around a table talking

At Leeds Federated, we want to make sure we’re working with you, not just for you. That’s why we’re inviting you to get involved in a range of engagement opportunities where you can share your views, shape our services, and help make a difference in your community.

Why should you get involved?

Getting involved is a great way to:

  • Share your experiences and help improve our services
  • Learn new skills and build confidence
  • Gain experience that could support job or volunteering opportunities
  • Meet new people and connect with others in your community
  • Better understand how we make decisions and how things work
  • Give something back and have a real impact

Most importantly, you’ll help us make sure we’re delivering services that truly work for our customers.

How can you get involved?

There are many ways you can get involved and shape our services. Click on each box below to learn more about how you can join in:

The Customer Voices Panel works closely with us to review services and suggest improvements. They:

Meets around 8 times a year

Involves reading information, joining discussions, and making recommendations

Helps shape important decisions and policies

You’ll get training, support, and access to resources from organisations like TPAS, a not-for-profit organisation which supports and champions tenant involvement.

Short on time? This option is perfect if you want to:

  • Give quick feedback through surveys and simple questions
  • Dip in and out whenever it suits you
  • Be entered into our bi-monthly prize draw each time you take part

Help shape our policies and the information we share. You’ll:

  • Review policy updates and give feedback
  • Share your thoughts on leaflets, posters, and communications
  • Occasionally get involved in designing new policies from the start, especially when they have a strong customer focus or impact.

Most of the time, this will be quick and easy, but there are opportunities to get more involved if you’d like.

Join in when topics interest you. You can:

  • Focus on specific projects or ideas such as repairs, complaints or anti-social behaviour
  • Choose what you want to be involved in. You can opt in or out if it is something you are interested and you have the time to be included
  • Take part in anything from quick feedback to workshops

Watch (or even take part in!) short, easy-to-access videos from colleagues across the organisation about our services and updates. Have your say on each of the topics covered in the vlogs through our online community. We will be showing the Vlogs at our monthly Housing Hub if you wanted to come in to view them and speak to us offline instead.

By getting involved in Your Voice you can:

  • Stay updated on what’s happening in your neighbourhood and across Leeds Federated
  • Chat with customers and our colleagues
  • Enter prize draws just by taking part

What support will you get?

We want everyone to feel included. If there’s anything that might make it easier for you to get involved, such as language support, timing, childcare, or accessibility, just let us know. We’ll do our best to support you.

We also pay for meals and refreshments at meetings and out-of-pocket expenses for things like travel to meetings or the cost of care for dependents.

What happens to your feedback?

Your voice – we’re listening and acting!

We’ll always:

  • Listen carefully to what you tell us
  • Be open and honest about what we can and can’t change
  • Show you how your feedback has made a difference

We know your time is valuable, and we’re committed to making your involvement worthwhile.

What happens next?
