Phone system upgrade

We’re currently upgrading our phone system, if you come across an issue when calling us, try again or email hello@leedsfed.com.

We want to support you to make your house into a home, so let us know if you’re thinking about making any alterations.

A man is using a drill hammer to take tiles off a bathroom wall. He is wearing safety googles and ear defenders.

We won’t refuse reasonable requests for alterations or improvements you want to make to your home but you need to get written permission from us before you go ahead with any of the following:

  • Decorating the outside of your home
  • Structural changes or extensions
  • Installing sheds, garages, or similar
  • Replacing fences or garden walls
  • Altering fixtures and fittings that we installed
  • Putting up satellite dishes or aerials
  • Tiling walls or floors
  • Installing laminate or vinyl flooring
  • Changing electrical, gas, heating, or water systems (including water meters)
  • Replacing things like kitchens, bathrooms, windows and doors – we may be able to offer compensation for these if we agree this with you in advance

Before you start work, you must give us copies of any planning or building approvals, and you must agree to meet any conditions we set. We might visit your home to inspect the work before it begins and after you finish it.

If you start work without permission, or you don’t complete it to a good standard, we can charge you to put things right. Find out more about other repairs you might need to pay for.
