As well as providing homes directly for individuals and families across the Leeds City Region, North and West Yorkshire, we also provide accommodation to local partners who offer specialist support. Through this approach we’ve partnered with Inspire North who support people facing mental health problems, homelessness, domestic abuse, and resettlement to build a brighter future.
In April 2025 Community Links and Foundation merged to create Inspire North, bringing together over 40 years of learning and expertise from the support sector. And in September 2025, we proudly celebrated the next step along Inspire North’s journey with the opening of their latest Hub in Harrogate.
The Hub was previously an empty shop with flats above. As the landlord for the building, we were looking for a suitable tenant to take on the space and Inspire North stepped forward. We funded the transformation of the empty shop into their new Hub and renewal of flats above for much-needed accommodation for young people.
“The work of Inspire North supports our own core purpose of ‘helping people make a home’ and their new Hub is a fantastic asset for Harrogate.”

“Thanks to Leeds Federated we now have a flexible space to progress our group drop ins and extend our work supporting more people to live independently.”
The Hub will be used for training days, drop ins, meetings and team days, and will support two of Inspire North’s key services:
- Harrogate Young People’s Pathway – supporting young people aged 16–25 with safe accommodation and personalised guidance toward independence
- Resettlement and Community Safety Scheme (RACS) – enabling and empowering people on probation throughout their resettlement and rehabilitation journey
“Thanks to our great relationship with the Inspire North team in North Yorkshire, the new flats and office space will make a real difference for our customers — not just today, but well into the future.”
