David is a chartered accountant with 35 years’ experience in practice, energy utilities and housing. His most recent role was Executive Director of Finance and ICT at Accent Housing, where amongst other things, he was responsible for leading the refinancing of the group’s borrowing, culminating in the issue of Accent’s record breaking £350m bond in the summer of 2019, the first UK Housing Association to achieve a coupon rate of less than 3%.

Previously David worked for Anchor Retirement Housing, Yorkshire Electricity/Npower and KPMG, before he retired at the end on 2021. David lives in Baildon with his wife, Lynne, and is a season ticket holder at Bradford City AFC. He also enjoys travelling and hill walking. David brings with him extensive finance and treasury experience.
