We’re currently upgrading our phone system, if you come across an issue when calling us, try again or email hello@leedsfed.com.
Over time we know things can break or wear out in your home and that accidents can happen. Let us know straightaway if you spot damage in your home that needs fixing so we can help put things right for you. Damage could include things like broken paving, door hinges coming off, handrails becoming loose, cracks appearing in walls or problems with damp and mould.
You can report things that need fixing by:
- Calling us on 0113 386 1000
- Emailing us at hello@leedsfed.com
- Or find out more about different types of repairs on our website
If you’re not happy with a repair we’ve made, or the service you’ve received, you can make a complaint.
Report repairs to us and avoid the legal route
Unfortunately, we’ve had reports of solicitors putting pressure on people to report repairs to them instead of us so they can make compensation claims – you might hear this type of solicitor being called a ‘claims farmer’. Claims farmers often promise big payouts but customers rarely see that money. If claims are unsuccessful, customers can be liable for legal costs which can stretch into thousands. Making a legal claim also delays repairs being carried out.
We encourage you to get in touch with us as soon as possible. Reporting a repair directly to us is the quickest way to get it fixed. We also prefer to spend our money on reinvesting in customer homes, rather than legal costs that don’t end up with the customer.
You can talk to our team, or raise a complaint, and we’ll work with you to put things right.
