Kirsty is a chartered accountant with over 20 years' experience in the not-for-profit sector. She grew up in Leeds and attended the local university, graduating with a degree in Geography and Geology. She then joined Grant Thornton as an audit trainee. This is where she gained her accountancy qualifications.

In the past, Kirsty has held roles at Incommunities and Leeds City College. She is currently employed as Executive Director of Finance and Business Services at Accent Group where she works between the Bradford and Peterborough offices. In her current role, Kirsty has a very broad remit. She oversees all aspects of: finance, treasury, governance, legal, assurance, regulation, health and safety and human resources.

With her technical finance background and broad remit in housing and regulation she supports the board and wider organisation to deliver brilliant homes and services.
