Kim Brear, Chair
Kim has 38 years experience of working in housing and community regeneration, including 20 years working at a strategic level in leadership roles within local government, housing associations and as Non Executive Director. She was appointed Chair of the Leeds Federated Board in September 2021.Having worked across a wide range of disciplines she has a good overview of the sector, the context it operates in and the challenges it faces.
She has a strong reputation for delivering change and new ways of working by engaging with key stakeholders to balance customer focus with service efficiency. She uses her knowledge and understanding to develop a more integrated approach and to facilitate innovative partnerships at a local and regional level. Her focus is on outcomes which make a real difference to people’s lives and places in which they live and work.
