If you are on Universal Credit you
MUST tell the DWP about your change in rent and resubmit your housing costs on your online Universal Credit Journal.
On 4
th April 2022, the DWP will add a new ‘Confirm Your Housing Costs message’ to your ‘To Do’ list on your journal to confirm your Housing Costs. To make sure you get what you are entitled to, you must complete this on 4
th April 2022 and no later than the end of your assessment period in April 2022 or you will miss out on money you are due. You cannot do this before the 4
th April 2022.
