Exciting New Shared Ownership Homes Are Nearly Here!

13 May 2019
Leeds Federated’s CEO Matthew Walker and Board members Stuart Whyte and Robin Machell along with Stuart Leslie, Divisional Director for Esh Construction, marked this stage by laying the final roof tile of the first plot.

Leeds Federated, a local housing association, has developed the scheme with the support of Leeds City Council and the Government Agency Homes England.
The scheme is part of Homes England’s Shared Ownership Affordable Homes Programme and received £1.6m worth of Social Housing Grant.

The scheme consists of 45 family homes, consisting of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties, available to buy on shared ownership sale via Leeds Federated. Properties are available on shared ownership from just a 35% share costing as little as £45,000.

Further information can be obtained from Leeds Fed’s selling agents William H Brown based in Oakwood 0113 248 8263.

The £4.6m scheme is currently being built by ESH Construction Ltd who are expecting to deliver the first homes in June 2019 with later phases due for completion in October 2019.  The scheme was designed by Acanthus WSM architects and was procured under Homes England’s DDP3 framework by the Employers Agent’s Cushman and Wakefield.

Matthew Walker from Leeds Fed commented “Leeds Fed is now building 150 homes every year for both rent and shared ownership. I am very pleased that people can buy a share of the homes for sale on this site in Gipton for as little as £410 per month”

Stuart Leslie from ESH said “We are pleased to be partnering with Leeds Federated on this project in building 45 new affordable homes in the Gipton area. We have a passionate, dedicated and experienced team working on this development, and we are proud to be contributing to help meet the demands in the Leeds City Region for affordable homes.“
