Responsibilities include assisting and supporting tenants with
start of tenancy and initial Housing Benefit applications, provide
support, advice and advocacy to tenants, to assist with daily
tenancy needs, welfare and other issues, and be a central point of
contact for our tenants.
The team ensures all aspects of neighbourhood nuisance, ASB and
harassment are dealt with, in accordance with the Association's
policies and procedures. They are also responsible for ensuring
that all tenancy conditions are adhered to and actioned
appropriately when breached, liaising with other agencies including
the Police, Social Services, other Landlords and the LFHA ASB
team.
Neighbourhood Managers and the Customer Involvement Officer are
responsible for drawing together regeneration plans which set out
processes in which tenant groups can be enabled to attract
regeneration funding, to forge closer links with other groups and
Association employees. They also support the Tenants Federation
which brings together tenant representatives to discuss issues at
the corporate level and produce the quarterly tenant's newsletter,
"Talking Tenants".
Estate Management
Responsibilities include monitoring cleaning and gardening
contractors to ensure tenant satisfaction and value for money.
Formal monthly visits to all sites are undertaken and staff
positively encourage resident involvement in all day to day
management of schemes. Liaison with internal departments, tenant
groups and Environmental Health, regarding cleansing, etc., are
essential.
