...report anti-social behaviour?
Report anti-social behaviour
Complaints regarding
Anti-social Behaviour can be made in a number
of ways. In office hours you can do this by speaking directly to
a member of staff on
0113 386 1000 or by
writing a letter addressed to your Neighbourhood Manager or via
a third party. A member of staff will take details and a
designated officer will acknowledge your call in writing the
next working day. Arrangements will also be made to contact you
personally and initiate an investigation into your
complaint.
24hr Helpline
We now operate a 24hr helpline on
0113 386 1000
where your call will be transferred to a switchboard operator who
will take details of your call and pass this information onto a
trained member of staff for further action. If you wish you can
request a call back from the centre staff. Alternatively, if your
call is to report racial or homophobic incidents you can contact
one of the other
agencies listed here.
Record keeping
In many ongoing cases, it is beneficial to have a written record of
incidents, detailing times and dates of incidents together with a
note of what is happening and the effect of the behaviour on the
complainant.
Incident Diary sheets are available to be
downloaded. These can be completed and handed to the officer
investigating your complaint.
