Office Information
Leeds Fed moved into Arthington House, our new purpose built
offices, in April 2001. The offices are located on the ground floor
and first floor of the building and the upper two floors comprise
of flats which belong to Leeds Fed and are rented to tenants.
The offices are in a pristine condition and are predominantly
open-plan with windows running along both sides of the two floors.
The office furniture is modern with staff having their own desk and
state of the art telephone and IT technology using Microsoft
software.
We have a Conference Room which provides seating for 25, three
smaller meeting rooms and a Community Hall which is used for staff
conferences, seminars, training events and community meetings.
On the first floor there is a staff dining room with bistro type
tables and chairs and a kitchen which has microwaves, a fridge, and
dishwasher. Tea, coffee and milk is provided for staff and this is
provided in the kitchen on the first floor and a smaller kitchen on
the ground floor. Spring Water units are also provided for staff
use.
There are takeaway and sandwich shops within a 2 - 5 minute walk
and other amenities such as Post Office, Chemists, petrol stations
are also located within walking distance. Leisure Facilities are
accessible on Kirkstall Road which is a 5-10 minutes car or bus
ride.
A no-smoking policy is in operation and staff have the advantage
of free car parking, the car park being adjacent to the
building.
We are approximately a 20 minute walk from Leeds City Centre and
the Railway station and there are regular bus services taking
approximately 10 minutes between the City Centre and Burley Road
which is a two minute walk from Westfield Road.
