...request a transfer?
You can request a transfer at any time providing you have
occupied your current property for at least 12 months and have no
outstanding debts with the association and you have no breach of
tenancy. We would consider the following to be an urgent case:
- Serious harassment
- Medical needs which are affected by your property
- Domestic violence
These are not the only reasons that we may consider as an urgent
need to move. Please speak to your Neighbourhood Manager on 0113
386 1000.
You can also apply to the Leeds Housing Register and this would allow
you to be considered by us and other housing associations as
well as Leeds City Council. Other landlords involved in the
Leeds Housing Register use different allocation systems so it is
worth checking with them on how to apply.
We would not consider you for an immediate transfer if you have any
of the following:
- Rent arrears on any Leeds Federated property
- Rechargeable repairs
- Court Orders for arrears, anti-social behaviour, refusal of gas
maintenance
- Other outstanding issues may also prevent a transfer
.
