...end my tenancy?
You can end your tenancy by giving
us 4 weeks notice either by telephone, letter or e-mail. This
applies to all tenancy agreements. We will send you a
termination
notice that you should complete in full and sign to confirm
your intention to leave. You can print this yourself by clicking on
the link above, complete the form in full and return to us at
Arthington House through the postor in person.
Your notice will begin from the Monday after
we receive the completed notice in our office and end on the Sunday
4 weeks later. You can leave before this date but will be liable
for the rent until the termination date. If you provide us with
your new address then you would be entitled to a High Street
voucher (more information in the notice and leaflet).
To gain a picture of why our tenants leave we would like you to
complete our
exit questionnaire. The information is used
to inform improvements to our
services for tenants.
Following the return of your form we
will contact you to arrange an appointment to carry out a home
visit. This will be to discuss any issues relating to the ending of
your tenancy. There is a handy leaflet
here with a checklist that you can use to
make sure that you have covered all the necessary tasks involved
in moving house.

tenant of ours and has just passed away then
